Through A Lens
Two weekends ago, I visited my sister in Hamburg. Besides trying to tick off all the places friends had recommended to me, we spent our weekend catching up and getting to know some of the more unusual locations in the city – trust me to always find the best cafés and restaurants wherever I go!
The image above was taken at Café Johanna, which might just be my favourite café of all time (the location, the place, the vibe AND the food were amazing!). Serving up delicious breakfasts and lunches and Aryuvedic juices, the café is situated near Landungsbrücken on Venusberg (what a great name for a hill, huh!) in this tiny room with big windows and raw concrete walls.
Then below, you can see some images of the Binnenalster, right in the centre of town. It had just started to rain and I like the icy winter vibes you get from looking at these – such a contrast to the current spring weather!
Have you ever been to Hamburg? I'm returning to Hamburg in six weeks for another short visit, so any tips you might have are more than welcome!
