Just like the girls over at Into The Gloss, I can't help but note down the items I finish. Although I'm no beauty guru and don't actually have a huge amount of products lined up at home - ok that's a little white lie, I do have quite an impressive beauty stash... -, whenever I do end up finishing something, it means I either love it and am ready to rebuy, or I'm trying to get rid of the stuff.

So recently I started to collect my empty bottles to try and analyse whether or not certain products worked for me. I'm terribly fickle when it comes to sticking to a routine and love finding new products. Unfortunately this means I end up owning quite a lot of half-empty bottles and tubs and, although I tend to give them to friends and family members, I do love rediscovering them if they worked well.

The Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser was purchased about 1 1/2 years ago and lasted for ever and ever. Due to its light but reliable cleansing skills, it came into action in the mornings and was a great one to keep in the shower for those lazy days when a face cleanse seems like a huge effort. Unfortunately my skin has been playing up recently, so I'm on the lookout for a more hands-on cleanser at the moment.

Another Clarins product is the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator, which I bought around christmas after reading Caroline Hirons recommendation. Seeing as though I used it within five months, I can safely say it's a winner! It's a great product for anyone in need of a little exfoliation without irritating sensitive skin. Although I feel like I need a stronger chemical exfoliant at the moment, I will definitely be repurchasing it soon.

As a huge fan of Pai, it was an obvious move to order the Pai Lotus & Orange Blossom Toner. The product has a beautiful smell and is so lovely and refreshing. Toners are one of those things that I still haven't managed to really get into. So although the toner felt and smelt great, I can't really say it has made much of a difference...

Next up is the Caudalie SPF15 Daily Perfecting Fluid. Its light texture and divine smell makes it my favourite summer moisturiser. It leaves the skin feeling incredibly soft and I have already purchased a new one. Enough said!

The Bioderma Sensibio H2O has by now become a cult beauty item. Being on my fourth bottle already, and repurchasing them whenever I'm back at my parents', I can safely say that this product is a great one for gently removing even the strongest makeup. Yes, there's other brands that deliver the same results for less money, but thanks to my home being close to France, I don't think I'll have to go looking for them anytime soon.

Now on to body products. The Weleda Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash has been a favourite of mine for years and years. I like to use the rose scented one during the colder months and switch it for a pomegranate scented one in the summer. Having heard lots of good things about the Korres shower gels, I thought it was about time I tried them myself. The Korres Japanese Rose Shower Gel had a far too sweet scent for my liking. While the other scents look and smell very tempting, I will probably wait a while before buying another one.

That's it from me. What products have you recently used up?
