IN SEVEN DAYS AROUND THE WEB #37

It's time for my weekly favourites of the web again. This time around it features many beauty posts, some fluffy cushions, a huge photography exhibition, two delicious looking recipes and the return of my favourite person on the internet.

We've all got a fascination with figs these days and Meg of Lips So Facto has finally put a finger on it and presents her go-to figgy products, all in one brilliant post. Apart from taking beautiful photographs, her writing is on point, even suggesting to layer perfumes to make you scents more woody or even festive.

The Design Chaser has posted an interview with Ryan MacPherson of Kanuka Collective. I'd never previously heard of the collective and especially like the sheepskin cushions. Christmas presents anyone?

Maiken Winther, former editor-in-chief of Costume magazine and blogger of Nouvelle, has just updated her website. I love the design and her editorial work is beautiful!

Freude!

Seeing as though my sister is now a resident of Hamburg and I'm already planning many trips to see her, the '100 years of photography with Leica' exhibition at the Deichtorhallen looks like a good enough reason to book a coach soon. (via Freunde von Freunden)

I'm very fond of Talisa's blog Badlands and her recent favourites are so similar to all the things I currently covet, that I had to share it with you. Gypsy Water: check, Nars Laguna: check, Tom Ford nude lipstick: check,...

If you ever find yourself in Amsterdam, make sure to check out some of Cate's tips. Her 24 hours in Amsterdam guide looks really helpful and makes me curious to go there again. There's so much more to see than just the red light district and the coffee shops!

Anni of The Annibee has just shared this editorial her friend Anna Sourminskaja styled. The hair and makeup is right down my street casual chic.

Another beauty post, this time by Chelsea of The Dauphine and all about Into The Gloss' new beauty range, Glossier. Apart from Chelsea's beautiful photos - doesn't just every look so much better when styled on a sheepskin rug? - she's also given the products a good whirl and given them her stamp of approval. That's enough for me, so as soon as the products are available in Europe, I'll have to invest.

I think I might actually be sharing a recipe by Alisa every week - but how can I help it when she publishes such delicious-looking ones all the time?! This one for dan dan noodles looks perfect for cold dark autumnal evenings!

You all know that I love Grace and her writing. Her recent post might be one of my favourites so far. If you're ever in need of some skincare tips, look no further!

Into The Gloss have taken a peek into Yasmin Sewell's home. The founder of fashion brand Être Cécile owns pretty much a lifetime supply of In Fiore products and shares some stories of her childhood.

(German content) Hanna von Foxycheeks hat sich die neuen roten und nude-farbenen Lippenstifte vorgenommen und uns in einem Blog Post vorgestellt. Mein Favorit: Der Tom Ford Lippenstift in der Farbe Negligée.

Rocio of lifestyle blog Let It Be Cosy always comes up with the most delicious looking, whilst still being super healthy, recipes. This mango salad looks insane and I will have to try it at home sometime in the next weeks!

And last but not least, the best news I've had this week: Bridie is back! Starting afresh with her blog Maison Ellis. I can't wait to read more from her in the coming weeks!

That's it from me boys and girls, I'll now try and have a relaxing last day at my parents' before boarding a 7 hour-long train back to Berlin and prepare for my new job, which starts on Monday. I can't wait to have a new beginning next week and hopefully this excitement will reflect in the upcoming blog content. Happy weekend!
