IN SEVEN DAYS AROUND THE WEB #24

Hey guys, guess what: It's Friday! To celebrate the matter with you, I have compiled a list of this week's best of the internet. Get ready for lots of illustrators, a few videos and some interesting articles. Happy Fridayyy!

Hands up if you dream of going on a sailing holiday sometime in your life! Mary of Stil in Berlin has just gone on one and boy, I'm so signing up for one when I have the cash! It doesn't just look beautiful and relaxing, it's also the most luxurious way to go sightseeing!

And while we're talking about Christoph Schlingensief - The New York Times have published a great article on him and his exhibition at the MoMA PS1.

This video by Chris Du'Mont is simply beautiful!
"Kempton Steam Museum is home to the worlds largest functioning triple expansion steam engine; located next to it’s static brother. In their day, these engines each pumped 19 million gallons of water to North London and, apart from periods of maintenance, worked 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from their installation in 1927 to their decommissioning in 1980.
Restored by volunteers over a 7 year period. The engines were opened to the public in 2002.
This short film is about the unique friendship between the retired volunteers who keep the engine going and the Engine itself."

As you might know, I'm a big fan of Ella of Deliciously Ella. About Time Magazine have interviewed her.

My dear Ari of Primer & Lacquer has finally put up a backstage report of the Malaikaraiss show during the Berlin Fashion Week. Especially reading her take of the beauty side during the shows is always very insightful.

Illustrator Leah Reena Goren is one of my all-time favourite artists (and I'm a huge fan of her cat Moses) and she's recently gone on a trip to Mexico, a country which is on my 'top 5 countries to visit' list. Check out her photos on her blog

The new campaign by Equipment is absolutely worth featuring on here, because it has a genius concept. Model Daria Werbowy was given full reign. She styled and photographed herself and the results are beautiful. Fashionista has all the details.

I love Ana Kras's colourful artworks, especially her woven lamps hold a dear place in my heart. Currently she is exhibiting some painting at the Ed Varie gallery in New York - if you're around, you should definitely have a look! Garance Doré has shot some photos of the exhibition that have definitely whet my appetite.

For anyone in need of shifting those ice cream pounds, take a look at this little workout on Into The Gloss - I'll definitely incorporate it into my morning routine from now on!

That's it for now, peeps! See you around and get ready for another Through A Lens this weekend!
