In Seven Days Around The Web #1

One of the things I most like about the internet is that you find so much inspirational material. And because you can drown in the sheer mass of information out there, I thought it was a good idea to try and gather some of my week's treasures with you every Friday from now on. Be it a good article, a song, a recipe or a blog, I hope my discoveries will inspire you in turn!

Like so many others taking an interest in fashion I, too, am a big admirer of Phoebe Philo's creations for Céline. This article on T-Magazine by Whitney Vargas sums up her fashion prowess pretty well and makes me yearn for some Céline goodness in my wardrobe (a girl can dream).

Having moved into my own home in November after 6 years of being a lodger and living in everything from halls to shared flats and houses, I enjoy nothing more than filling my home with nice interiors. So coming across the Japanese brand Karimoku New Standard, who make all their furniture from Japanese hardwoods, was quite the find. This bench would be perfect for my hallway! (via Journelles

I'm a big fan of supporting small local brands. A piece of furniture by NEW TENDENCY has been on my wishlist for a long time. During the Berlinale they were asked by Zeit Magazine to furnish their temporary café. The images are beautiful and classic - I love the use of colours and textures, too.

To keep going with the interior theme a little while longer, I found this lovely home-story by Josefin Haag. I'm a big fan of clean and simple design. Her flat looks perfect - even though I would maybe introduce a little bit more colour!

I love breakfast, so this blog by Alisa is definitely going to be used as a Sunday morning inspiration from now on!

The winter in Berlin is supposed to be over. This blog post by Dabito has made me wish for one last spout of snow however.

Seeing as though I have never taken part in any fashion week craze, but try to keep up with the happenings online, I loved this post by Leandra on LFW. I love The Man Repeller's witty writing and this sum-up has hit the nail on the head, so to say.

Happy Friday everyone!
